We have been working hard all spring to get our hardcore trail sandal, the Oso, ready to launch, but have come across some unexpected setbacks in its development. Specifically, there were some last minute problems with the midsole we had chosen, so we had to start testing some new options.

We now have a midsole chosen that will make an awesome, rugged, and durable Oso — all that’s left is to wait for Vibram to produce and ship it out to us. It will take a couple months for them to make the material, ship it over from the east coast, and for us to create an army of Osos for your purchasing pleasure. We know a lot of you are excited for the Oso, and we apologize for the delay. We won’t settle for anything less than the best trail adventure sandal on the market, so we want to get it right.

If you need a trail sandal NOW, the Leadville or Mono are more than capable. The Oso will have a tougher, denser outsole than either of these sandals, but if you’re looking for a lightweight option with great moldability, the Mono and Leadville are here to console you while you wait. Many a mountainous ultra marathon has been run in both of these models with great success.

We’ll keep you updated on the Oso throughout the summer. We’re Oso excited!
